Tips & Tricks for face painting

Our face paint products are activated with water and are easy to work with when the consistency is right.

Step-by-step guide:

  • Lightly moisten your brush or sponge with water – using a spray bottle or a brush and water container. The paint should not be too dry or too wet.
  • Work the paint until it becomes creamy and smooth, preferably using circular motions.
  • Use a sponge for larger areas and a brush for details and lines.
  • Apply several thin layers rather than one thick layer for a smoother and longer-lasting result.

Face paint can be removed easily and gently.

We recommend:

  • Use lukewarm water and a mild soap (apply the soap to the face paint first, then add water) to dissolve the paint effectively.
  • Avoid using wet wipes, baby wipes, or makeup removers with oil or wax.
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing.
  • Allow the skin to rest and follow up with a gentle moisturiser.

Rainbow cakes are a beautiful and versatile product for creating quick, colourful designs using multiple colours at once.

The split cake format makes it easy to achieve beautiful colour transitions in a single stroke, making it ideal for quick face painting at events, children’s birthday parties, festivals, and professional events.
