Terms and Conditions for Gertruds Univers

Gertruds Univers offers creative and fun activities for both children and adults.

  • Face painting
  • Glitter bar
  • Children’s yoga

All activities are carried out using child-friendly, allergy-friendly, and environmentally friendly materials such as plant-based glitter and vegan glitter glue.

3. Booking and Payment

– All services can be booked via email or phone.

– Upon confirmation of the booking, an invoice with payment details will be sent.

– Payment must be made within the number of days stated on the invoice, and preferably before the event begins, unless otherwise agreed, or if the invoice is received after the event due to a busy schedule.

– For drop-in events and face painting at events with individual payment, payment can be made via MobilePay or Dankort.

All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. For business clients, hourly rates are excluding VAT. Please see the “Prices” section on the website unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellation and Changes

– Cancellations must be made in writing via email and SMS (in case the email accidentally ends up in spam).

– For private bookings, a full refund is available if cancellation takes place within 14 days. After this period, the amount will not be refunded, but it is possible to rebook Gertruds Univers for another date.

– For business events, cancellations made later than 30 days before the event are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed.

– For cancellations made no later than 35 days before a business event, the amount may be refunded, unless otherwise agreed.

– In the event of rain, the possibility of indoor face painting must have been agreed upon in advance, as rain is not considered a valid reason for cancellation, unless otherwise agreed.

In cases of very heavy rain, for example at outdoor tent events, Gertruds Univers is entitled to pause activities and cover painting equipment to prevent damage. Any pauses caused by severe weather conditions, where there is no full shelter or no option to move indoors, cannot be compensated.

If Gertruds Univers cancels an event, a new date or full refund will be offered.

5. Safety and Liability

– All activities are adapted to children’s ages and abilities, but participation is at your own risk.

– Parents/guardians are responsible for children during activities unless otherwise agreed.

– Gertruds Univers does not accept responsibility for any allergic reactions, but we ensure the use of skin-friendly products, including allergy-friendly face paints, vegan glitter glue, and plant-based glitter.

– If we unexpectedly experience any form of discrimination based on skin color, nationality, culture, beliefs, language, etc., this will be addressed immediately.

– Gertruds Univers reserves the right not to paint guests/customers who are heavily intoxicated at face painting or glitter bar events, such as parties or Christmas lunches. We aim to ensure a good atmosphere and provide a fun experience. However, we are entitled to refuse service if a guest is excessively intoxicated. Likewise, drinks are not permitted on or around Gertruds Univers materials and equipment.

Gertruds Univers cannot be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as severe traffic congestion or major public transport delays. However, the company always strives to arrive 30 minutes before the booking officially begins.

6. Privacy Policy

– Personal information is only used in connection with bookings and is stored securely in accordance with applicable GDPR regulations.

– No information is shared with third parties.

– Photos are only shared with verbal permission.

7. Contact

For questions or requests, you are always welcome to send an SMS or email with information about the date, address, number of guests, and type of event. I will then call you back within 24 hours. If you have not heard back within 24 hours, your email may have ended up in spam, so please feel free to also send an SMS. If it is urgent and close to the event date, you are welcome to call me directly.

8. Birthdays

For children’s birthday parties, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all parents have given consent for their children to receive face painting.
